Q: Is there any cost to me?
A: No, the qualification is completely free, paid for by Calvary
Q: How many hours of work will I do?
A: You will work a min of 15 hours a week and your study time will be within these rostered hours, in person training of 4 hours per fortnight at a central location
Q: Will I always work at the same Aged Care Facility?
A: Yes
Q: How will I be paid?
A: Calvary will pay fortnightly in arrears into your nominated bank account
Q: I am only available for casual work, can I still participate?
A: Unfortunately you have to be available to work/study part-time to be eligible for this traineeship
Q: I am available for 6 months, is that enough?
A: Unfortunately you have to be available to work/study for 12 months from the start of the traineeship to the end
Q: When will this start?
A: We are aiming to start with the first group of Trainee's mid July 2022

Candidates must hold Australian or NZ Citizenship or the capacity to permanently work in Australia. Employment of a temporary visa holder may only occur if no suitable permanent resident or citizen of Australia has been identified for this position following suitable labour market testing.
As part of the application process, you may be required to participate in a health evaluation, which could include face to face assessment and drug and alcohol testing, to ensure your suitability for the role.
